Hi!

How would you like to fish for trout, look at different water bugs, see hawks and eagles up close or take a hike – on a school day? You can do that if you are in elementary school and your school is coming to Outdoor Adventures!

Outdoor Adventures is like going to school at a lake, where there’s a lot to see and do. See invasive plants and learn what makes them so bad. Hear about our rivers and streams. Discover where animals like to live. Feel real animal fur and pet an alpaca. Watch a working windmill. Find out how to save energy. Create artwork. Play games. Touch creepy bugs. You will learn a lot about our part of the world – in a fun way.

Outdoor Adventures is free! So tell your teacher or parent (if you are home-schooled) all about us. Maybe we’ll see you in April!

If you want to learn more about plants and animals, visit the Kid’s Patch.
