It’s easy to get involved with Outdoor Heritage! Just click on the Events button to learn about the many activities that are scheduled.

Or create your own Outdoor Heritage event by visiting a park or museum, planting a native species around your home or stepping up your recycling efforts. If you plant trees, please let us know, because they will help to make Outdoor Heritage Month activities carbon-neutral.

You also can donate time or money to help with Outdoor Heritage Month events. Many of our conservation groups would value your contributions. Consider supporting Outdoor Adventures, May 6-7, an educational field trip for elementary students held at Summer’s Best Two Weeks camp at Quemahoning Lake. Over those two days you can help 1,200 kids experience their natural and cultural heritage with hands-on activities.

Click on the buttons above for further information and become a meaningful part of Outdoor Heritage Month!
